This is a big hurdle/challenge. That's why I use saved searches. I have them automatically sent to Power BI where I do all my reporting/analytics. I use this Suiteapp: www.satoritechllc.com

You have a few options: 1. Tactical Connect - this will allow you to use multiple saved searches in excel (within power query to create a little data model). In NetSuite, you are quite limited. However, in Power BI we have created all types of forecasts using NetSuite transaction level detail and other data sources.
