It's not just you. Our beta account is extremely slow as well. Support told us to wait a week and call back if it's still slow. Not too helpful.
-
Thanks! I agree with Jim about the option as well.

We've got an ugly workaround that we're working on. Step 1. On the transaction form, add a hyperlink field (lets call it 'edit mode' and append &e=T to the url of the transaction. Step 2. Include the new 'edit mode' field in the results of the search. Step 3. Click on the 'edit mode' url on the alert and voila! This would…

Number and types of users are also a consideration. If you have one person using Netsuite and VOIP on even a regular high speed connection, there should be no problem. If you have an office with multiple users you'll need to be much more vigilant about what is or isn't allowed. We have two connections and a firewall that…

I agree with Jim. A regular high speed connection (cable or dsl) is more than adequate to run Netsuite provided that the connection is reliable and quick. By quick I'm talking about ping times vs. bandwidth. Even a medium sized office (15 - 20 people) can share a cable connection for Netsuite and be perfectly happy if the…

I'd be interested to hear about any optimizations as well. We also learned very quickly that faster computers made a huge difference in Netsuite speed. We have two internet connections (cable and dsl).

This seems a bit ambitious for a few weeks doesn't it? I don't think I'd get much done on the scripts given the surroundings you describe :)
-
The scope of your project(s) is pretty wide. I would say that someone with zero Netsuite experience will take at least a week or two just to get an idea of how it all works. Take it from someone who's tried to go the voluteer route ... you will likely end up saving more time and money in the end by using professional…

Sorry, sorry :)
-
Not being serious at all ... sorry.
-
I know this isn't helpful at all but ... What about this guy?
-
It makes us 11.0.6 users just sit back, twiddle the thumbs and watch the grass grow a little bit more... ... Hurry up and upgrade me!!!! Please!!!! Careful what you ask for. Being the an early upgrader is a double-edged sword. We've actually asked to be on the last rollout to minimize the number of bugs we see. Don't get…

The category is set to display in web site = true. I want the category to display, but when a customer clicks on the category link (the picture in this case), it should redirect to the tab. Are redirect supposed to be just for invalid urls that are being redirected to valid ones? That's not the case with mine. I do have a…
-
I think it's because you spelled category wrong :) In retrospect it would have been helpful to include the url to copy and paste. Sorry about that. http://test.cfhi.ca/s.nl/sc.8/category.23/.f and http://test.cfhi.ca/Sponsorship
-
Well, I've tried my first redirect and it's not redirecting. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding wha the purpose of this feature is. Here's what I've got: I'm trying to redirect a category to a tab. So when I click on the 'sponsorship' category on our "what we do' tab it will redirect to the 'sponsorship' tab. Can anyone give me…
-
It looks like existing internal urls can't be redirected. I can redirect a non-existing url without a problem.
-
You may want to start a new thread since this is a new topic and I'm afraid I'm going to sleep now. Hope someone else can help you still tonight.

Sadly, there isn't one place. If it's a Netsuite field, then just click on the field name and a box will appear with help info for that field. At the bottom is the field name. On a customer record I clicked on the word 'Phone' and got this: Enter a phone number for your customer. It will appear on the Customer List report.…
-
Do you mean your custom fields? Those are under Setup > Customization. You can choose from item, entity etc.
-
That must be it. I didn't get a notice, no.
-
I'm a stupid user. It's the skype plugin for IE that does that. Doh!
-
The explanation at least gives me an idea. What I'll do is record the numbers for a few frequently used pages when our speed is good. Then, on problem days I can call Netsuite with some stats when the Sever amounts are high. It's something to start with anyway.
-
Hey, we used to have a Netusuite flame blog ... Ours was called NetSour. That was a year or more ago and we haven't had the same crippling issues since. I do mention to prospective buyers that there is a downside to total integration and that is the fact that you are pretty much totally commited to Netsuite. It's a lot…

I think evan's point is valid. The analogy he gives is more like this: Don't leave your car idling in the garage if you aren't using it. No need to push it, just turn it on when you need it. The point of portlets is to have quick access to the numbers you need. I don't need to see them 24/7, just a couple times a day. One…

Thanks for the reply but that's not the case here. The same custom list without highlighting works fine. Also, it's only the status field that I can't edit. Assigned To, Title and Due Date all work fine.
-
We're back up now ... how about the rest of you?
-
We have gold support but to be honest I don't have the phone number here with me and can't get it because I can't log in. Doh!
-
Ok then ... are there any support options at this hour? Web sites aren't busy just from 9-5.
-
That's it! Thanks.
-
Yea, it's a good thing. It just caught us by surprise. All fixed now and we have the added functionality so that's a plus.
