Hi - I know there are two fields - I need a SQL statement that will give me the values in those fields BY LOCATION, in Columns (Like the layout I drew). When I select those fields, I am getting the ITEM reorder point and preferred stock level. I need those values BY LOCATION, and displayed in one search, with the Location…

I had selected "Maximum" since it's one value per location per item. I am checking the results now. Thanks

Thank you for all the comments. I have been trying to clarify with the customer - he's very slow to respond, and language issues pose some challenges. If I hear back and still have issues - even with all this help - I'll be sure to post again. Again, thank you all. It's good information for me. Sara

I had suggested that, but he's saying that won't work. One problem may be that I'm not overly familiar with inventory, and his language is often difficult to follow. Here's what he said: I did try, but is not an adjustment of volume or amounts, it is a adjustment on the price the value of the inventory is less, and we have…

Thanks, Oliver. Makes sense, even though it's not the answer I would have preferred! Much appreciated - Sara

I am having this same issue now - is there any way to do this? Thanks - SEA

Thanks. Gives me a place to start at least. I think we're going to have to look at Crystal or other reporting tool as well, so maybe I'll try the Excel-XML route to start. Much appreciated.

Thanks, Robert. I can't find anything on "The Agent". Do you have a URL or some more information so I can research? With hundreds of bills each month, I think the user needs some help! Thanks - Sara

Thanks. I called Support and they told me 82809 is an enhancement for importing Bills. I hope everyone will vote for it! Sara

Robert - I've finally gotten some time to start this and discovered that we can only use Web Services. From Help: "smbXML import is not supported for accounts using NetSuite OneWorld. If you use NetSuite OneWorld, use the CSV Import Assistant or Web Services to import your data instead." Any clues on how to get started…

I had the same problelms - can't submit a case and get kicked out ("Session has timed out") when I signed in less than 20 seconds earlier. Sara

To all - This helps Tremendously!! Especially since everyone pretty much follows the same process. I think we have to have some code written to total the month-to-date discount for these items by rep, and stop the transaction if they're over their limit. And I think we might try the report approach (Thanks, Corinna!)…

Thanks, Oliver. The information is helpful - I will certainly mention this in our kickoff meeting. The problem that I'm facing is that my boss wants a project plan, and I'm at a loss as to what needs to be included. I created a plan, with what I know, and look to discussing that with the group (hopefully) next week. What…

Thanks - that's just the sort of Info I was looking for. I'm not (actually) that far off in my plan, which is good! Also, thanks for the 'adjusted' chance of success! Since the sub is so small, what we really want to do is 1) make sure they're set up to use NS for AP, AR, GL on July 1 and 2) Bring in anything with a…

I agree, Matt. What we really wanted was to have the CSV file saved to a network drive. Since I couldn't do it with the Saved Search, I thought I'd try workflow. I have since found out that saving to a network drive isn't possible. Thanks for your reply. Sara

Thank you. The article could be helpful if we decide to proceed in this direction. I am using the standard "Email from Saved Search" and that seems to be working right now. I think running the search in a workflow will only act on one record, anyway, and we want to send the entire output to the customer. Much appreciated -…
