Same issue here. It started on Friday. I have done all of the steps above and even uninstalled/reinstalled IE8. Still no fix. Do we know if NetSuite is working on this?

Clearing caching, adding to trusted sites, rebooting, does not help us. I have multiple users now (including myself) who cannot login using IE 8. Does anyone know an ETA from NetSuite?

This is EXTREMELY frustrating to me as well. I have had Silver Support for 2 years now, and the latest renewal took away phone support. Your description of what's happening is my experience as well.
