My search as you suggested is for employee object and on my criteria I also check to see if they are set for project resource, that's all. I wonder what am I doing…

thanks for the response. I have used inner join so it captures employees name even though there is no time card and that did not work. also I want to capture for those specific week that my report runs. I am using jdbc for extracting data. What formula are you suggesting to use? any comment is welcome. thanks again ava

thanks so much for your response. I tried to use your formula and it keeps giving me invalid expression. It seems to me it cuts end verbage at the end of expression. Any idea why is that? I am sure I am doing something wrong since it worked for u ok :) regards Ava
