Again, bear with me being new to Netsuite but I don't think it's a "type of record" or record at all. It's just a custom field and custom list. On role permissions, the custom list doesn't appear to be able to set it as View, Edit, etc. I see two options that may have something to do with this and appreciate any help…

Thank you all for your response! We figured out what worked for us and that was to edit the "Custom Lists" permission for appropriate roles. If you go to a Role > Setup > Custom Lists and change it to View instead of Create, Edit, or Full, it makes it so that the role can’t add options to any custom lists but can still use…
