Creating Inventory Count
Creating inventory counts in NetSuite QuickStart Edition is a way to physically count and track item quantities at specific locations. The system automatically updates the on-hand quantity based on the count, ensuring accurate inventory management.
Steps on Creating an Inventory Count:
1. Access the Ask Oracle > Inventory > Manage inventory > Inventory counts > Create new.
2. On the New inventory count page, populate the following fields:
- Date - Set the desired date for the inventory count.
- Subsidiary - Choose the relevant subsidiary.
- Location - Specify the location within the subsidiary for the count.
- Adjustment Account - Select the account for posting adjustments, which NetSuite calculates based on count results.
