nlapiAddMonths equivalent in 2.0

I rely on nlapiAddMonths in 1.0 to get around some of the JavaScript limitations of the native date object (e.g. adding 1 month to October 31st = December 1).

Does anyone know the equivalent in 2.0 as I can't seem to find it?

I can come up with a library or module myself or look for one online but would rather see if something is already available.
