Removing or hiding buttons on custom form

Hi, can anyone help with how to hide or remove buttons on a custom form. We wish to hide or remove the 'make copy' and 'save & copy' buttons as our staff who edit the custom form(s) sometimes click the wrong button and duplicate the form, causing issues down the track. Thanks.
