Images on PDF Transaction form layouts?

Hi, I've asked this question before at https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=23106&highlight=images+on+pdf+transaction+layout
but none of the solutions work in trying to get an image to show on a PDF transaction layout.

We are simply looking to add some small logo type images like credit cards at the bottom of the PDF layout.

I have tried including a custom inline HTML field with the image source but does not work for PDF.

The only way I can get these images to show is by using HTML layouts which is not the best for our business requirements.
