External Client Appointment Scheduling Idea

We're looking at implementing an appointment system within NetSuite which holds a selection of available appointment slots for our clients.
Ideally we want to create a link to an online form which we can then email to our clients, this online form would allow the client to select from a pre-generated selection of appointments and then take that slot off the available list and email details to certain users and the client themselves.
Anyone implemented anything similar? We have a couple ideas on how to do it but just want to pick a few brains to see if someone's done something similar already?
