Permissions Error
When attempting to update a record (Customer, Case, Custom) I often get this error message:
"Record not updated. Message is:You do not have permissions to set a value for element created due to one of the following reasons: 1) The field is read-only; 2) An associated feature is disabled; 3) The field is available either when a record is created or updated, but not in both cases."
The fields I am working with do not meet any of that criteria. I've looked at the fields and they are enabled. I've checked the form side as well to ensure they weren't disabled on that side. I can modify them with smbXML. My confusion might be in the 3) above since I'm not trying to do both but I'm trying to do an update. I'm trying to modify custom fields.
