Permission error when trying to retrieve a list of departments
Hi again. I'm trying to retrieve a list of departments via PHP and web services. When I set my role to administrator for the script, it works fine, but when I set the role to a custom role that we have set up, I'm getting this message:
Permission Violation: You need the 'Lists -> Departments' permission to access this page. Please contact your account administrator.
I edited the role in question and added Permissions -> Lists -> Dept/Sales Channels -> View and saved the role, but it is still giving me that error. I also tried giving it full and edit permissions with the same result. Searching the forums pointed me to a potential permission issue where I needed to add Searches -> Standard -> Dept/Sales Channel, but every time I try to add that and save the role, the setting goes away when I view the role again.
