Other Custom Fields

Ok,

So I querying for a particular Subsidiary record.  On that subsidiary record, there are custom fields.  These custom fields are listed under the 'Other Custom Field' list.  Those fields are not coming back in the query (in fact, customFieldList is empty).

My guess is that because these 'custom' fields are not directly against the record itself (disconnected), they are no found during the query.

How can I resolve/workaround this?
