Please note that on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 8:00 PM Pacific time, our Case Management System will undergo a scheduled maintenance for approximately 4 hours. During this time, case creation via SuiteAnswers will be unavailable and inbound calls will be routed to Customer Service.
Pass custom field as null during an update
We have a custom field on an Estimate that points to the Partner RecordType. This is not the Partner relationship that is native to Netsuite. It is purely a custom field for another purpose. We need the ability to null out the field (remove whatever the current value is) via webservices. How can this be done? Passing null for the internalId doesn't do anything as the initial value is still on the estimate.
