Debugging suitescripts
Hi all,
I am coming from Visual Studio where I can put a "break" in my code and step through it at runtime reviewing the values of all variables as the code get executed. Is there anything similar to debug suitescript code in a quotation form within NetSuite?
We have a code that gets executed each time we modify a value on a quotation item. The developer that wrote the code uses the "most basic" (archaic) way of debugging that is sending messages to the screen all lines that he would like to see a value. Yes! This method is better than nothing, but I find it hard to believe that nowadays this is the only way to truly debug a suitescript code.
