Costed Bill of Materials Inquiry - Advanced BOM
I need a sanity check on how the Costed BOM Inquiry should work. Since I am using Advanced BOM, the default BOM DISPLAY CONTROL is "By Revision", and I would expect to see the current material cost for the current Revision as of the current date. What I am seeing is the material cost for the current Revision, but as of the Revision's EFFECTIVE DATE. I do not understand the logic in having the EFFECTIVE DATE default to the Revision's EFFECTIVE DATE instead of the current date, since the majority of the time you want to see the current cost.
