Is it possible to add a contact drop down to the partner tab on opportunities?

The organization I work for is interested in being able to apply contact name from partner records to their opportunities.

They have one large partner, with upwards of 200 possible contacts that will start sending referrals to their organization.

These contacts belong to one main partner, and will help work opportunities and later need to be rewarded on won opportunities.

So far, I've been unable to figure out how to get contact into the fields for partner on the opportunity.

Is it possible to add it?
