How can we clear the externalid of deleted customer addresses?

edited Feb 25, 2020 8:38PM in Ask A Guru 1 comment

We loaded several customer records with multiple addresses.  Each address has an externalid.  Some of the customer addresses were deleted/removed through the UI as they were not correct.  Then a CSV import was used to import the addresses again.  The same externalid was used with the reimport for the respective deleted address.  Now when web services searches NetSuite by the address externalid, the search is returning more than one address for the externalid.   It seems to pull the "active" customer address and the deleted address.  How do we clear/delete the externalid of the deleted addresses?

Thanks in advance.
