Demand Planning - Moving Average

Why doesn't Demand Plan Moving Average include the Expected Demand Change in the item demand calculation? The Seasonal Average item demand calculation will increase when the Expected Demand Change is populated on the item record, but the Moving Average Projection Method doesn't seem to take Expected Demand Change into account. Is there a way to have Moving Average increase the item demand based on Expected/Estimated Demand Change? Thanks in advance!
