get total quantity of each sales order in saved search formula

Hi there i'm creating a saved search for a sales order. In one of the columns i would like to have a total quantity for each sales order. I know how to do this via the group/sum method.

But i'm pretty sure there's a way to do this via formula. Has anybody done something similar before?
