How do we make a report showing sales of any item including any units sold as part of a kit
When reporting on sales of any one inventory item. We're baffled by kit sales.
Here is the issue:
Inventory Item = Widget A (sold individually)
Then, we have...
Widget B 5-Pack Kit Item = 5 pack of widget A
Widget C 10-Pack Kit item = 10 pack of widget A
How can we do a report showing the number of Widget A units sold? I can make it find all sales of Widget A, Widget Kit B (kit) and WidgetC (kit), but it won’t total them accurately. Each Widget Kit B will count as one sales unit and not 5 pcs of Widget A. Each Widget Kit C will count as one sales unit and not 10 pcs of Widget A.
