Automatically retrieve client name from custom client code
Dear NetSuite Gurus
I would like to automatically retrieve client names from a custom client code field. Here is the process:
> we (my client) use a custom client code (client ID) for some specific reasons
> we have a time recording tool that is not NetSuite.
> this tool allows us to export service hours with associated client codes.
> we would like to import these hours+codes and have NetSuite automatically associate clients to the times from the code.
> then we will be able to invoice clients
Alternatively, if we enter hours directly into NetSuite, we only want to enter the client code and NetSuite will automatically retrieve the client's name on the form
