Prevent Sales Order save when payment information is incorrect when creating a transaction using Sui

When creating a Sales Order via SuiteScript (then transform it to a CC Sale) for a credit card transaction is it possible to prevent the save of the Sales Order if the payment card is incorrect?

If I set the 'getauth' to true, both the Sales Order and CC Sale are created but they have a payment hold. If I do not set it only the Sales Order gets created.
