Show Committed Date

I do not think NetSuite stores the date an item was committed. We need to track this so product can be reallocated if the customer has had the item committed for more than 30 days and is not ready to receive it. Has anyone found a way to get to this information? I know we can have something customized, but looking to see if anyone else out there has found another way. Appreciate the feedback.
