How can we Send Email Messages From CRM Tasks?
We use CRM Tasks for many different functionally specific processes and requests for work within our organization, but the single most requested additional functionality is to be able to send Email Messages directly from the Task.
The Standard Task Form has a Communication sub tab but it does not include the Message functionality and I see in NS documentation regarding Messages that CRM Tasks are not included in the list of Records that have Messaging.
With that in mind I was thinking of developing some SuiteScript and a custom button for the Task forms that bring up the Message form and relate the Customer, Contact, Employee, and Task, so that we can also have the messages listed under those entities but also to the Task itself.
