Import Forecast

Is there a way to import the sales forecast by customer/item by month for a future time period in NetSuite?  We would like visibility to a 12 month rolling sales forecast and would like to maintain in NetSuite.  Is this possible to achieve outside of using the opportunities? Thank you in advance!!
