Hi Jack,

Your answer is absolutely right. I use Go To Record action, it also works.

Netsuite native New Task button opens a new task in a new tab. users can still stay in the original Opportunity tab after create and save a new task. Users can see the task right below Activities subtab. Please see below.

After click the custom task button, it will close the original Opportunity window and open a new task.

Is it possible to open a new task in a new tab and keep Opportunity tab open?
