Creating Groups in Resource Allocation Grid

Is it possible to create Groups for easy filtering in the Resource Allocation Grid.  We utilize employees and equipment (Generic Resources) as resources.  I would like to be able to create groupings of common usage.  If I have 3 employees that are using the same equipment is would be nice to group them to review their allocations quickly.
