Sales report not returning correct results

The sales report is returning incorrect results. It is duplicating invoices in the results, and including deleted invoices.  I went to your standard reports.>Sales  >Sales by customer. I ran this report and it looked good.- It returned correct results. Then all I did was add a filter as I need the total of international sales only. Filter was; - Country is not equal to AU. (AU = Australia) The result produced incorrect summary for most of  our customers. It duplicated some invoices, and included deleted invoices. Not sure how to fix. Can someone please shed some light? there is a
