Hello Gurus,

i have a custom transaction field into which i source the email address from a contact record.

In order to source the information the field must be of type = email

However for the purposes of an advanced pdf template I need the value to be  just plain text  eg person@test.com (without the link/mailto: part)

How can I convert to the email to text either in the custom field or alternatively using freemarker within the template

Any hints are appreciated!
