Adding company name on a contacts user note
We’d like all communication (messages, notes, calls, emails etc) we save under a contact to be visible also at the contacts company level, together with the company list. This is a CRM requirement in order to get an easy overview, while still being able to log communication at the contact level.
I started with trying to merge notes and ran into trouble as I was unable to create a sublist on the company record showing both customer and contact notes. I’ve tried the steps below:
I have created a custom field on the (sandbox, after refresh) notes, named ‘AssociatedCompany’ and tried to fill it with the following (trigger on entry) set field value workflow formula:
