Deprecation of Intercompany Journal Entries

When users create an Intercompany Journal Entry (Transactions > Financial > Make Intercompany Journal Entries), the banner below appears on the upper portion of the page.

SuiteAnswers ID: 7759 Making Intercompany Journal Entries also provides a note stating, "As of 2018.1, advanced intercompany journal entries replace legacy intercompany journal entries in new OneWorld accounts."

To discuss further, the deprecation of Intercompany Journal Entries and Book Specific Intercompany Journal Entries (legacy ICJE) began in 2018.1. In 2018.1, the new legacy ICJE records included a banner advising users that Advanced Intercompany Journal Entries are replacing Intercompany Journal Entries. For the users' convenience, the banner includes a link to a new Advanced Intercompany Journal Entry record.
