SuiteScript 2.0: Updating Custom Field of Address Subrecord of Customer Record
Customer Record's Address is located in the line fields. Using setValue function to update the custom field of the address form will not save the value on the customer record unless commitLine is used since it is in the line field.
See sample code snippet below on how to update the Custom Field on the Address Subrecord of a Custom Record via Field Changed function of a client script in a Sales Order Record.
1. Load the Customer Record
var customerRecord = record.load({
type: record.Type.CUSTOMER,
id: 5,
isDynamic: true
});
2. Get the Address Subrecord on where the user wants to edit the address.
