Trial Items - How to Report Items When Items are Returned Because Customer Does Not Want to Buy?
Hi Guru team,
Need some guidance with Scenario 2 and how to report the results.
A company sends out items for Trial through a Sales Order. The items can be either purchased by the customer or returned.
Scenario 1: Company ships out 3 items for Trial to their customer. After the Trial period, the customer sends back 1 item for return and an RMA is processed for the 1 item. The customer decides to keep the other 2 items (so they are sold) and the company invoices the customer from the SO for the 2 items.
Scenario 2: Company ships out 2 items to the customer for trial. The customer doesn't want either item and so both items are returned. The company issues an RMA for the 2 returned items.
