SuiteApprovals : 'approval request email recipient' field too short / approved system JE

Hello,

I'm testing in SANDBOX the bundle SuiteApprovals to check if it suits to the users needs.

I'm using it only for Journal Entries

I am facing two problems :

  • the field 'approval request email recipient' in the setup Approval Preferences is too short : the last character is not taken into account (limited to 65 characters, the email given by the plug-in SuiteApprovals Email Approval is 66 charaters long...). In Production I think I will not have the problem because the email is shorter (no '-sb1' extension)
  • I setup approval rule to automatically approve Journal Entries which are Allocation or Amortization or created by system. I created a saved search to filter the JE
