Best practice to subsidary wise inactive item record

Hi @all,

I've got a query.

We using one item code globally.

For example, item A is allocated to three subsidiaries

But if one of these subsidiaries decides to stop selling this product, what should we do? We cannot inactivate it as it will disconnect from all

And I am not sure if we can/ will system allow to remove the subsidiary from the item as it has previous transactions.

So what is the best practice to handle this situation. Please advice
