Emailing Invoice Group Saved Search with Custom Advanced PDF Template

I have an Invoice Group saved search with a Custom Advanced PDF Template attached to it.

The Template is default, and if you print the results of the search it will default to that Advanced PDF Template

If I schedule the Search to send an email, or use the Save and Email option on the search, the PDF sent is the default / generic template, not my default Advanced PDF Template.

Is there any way to email a search using a Custom Advanced PDF Template? I'm not sure if this is just a limitation of Invoice Group saved searches, or all searches?
