Why does the GL Impact on some transactions not copy "Name" down to all lines for reporting?
On the GL impact for vendor bills the field for name is blank for the accrued purchases Debit lines. I assume this is because that is sourcing line (item) level data. I have a customer that is concerned that the header level “Name” detail doesn’t flow down to the lines as well for reporting on their Financial reports like Balance sheets. They thought that this would be a native feature and are shocked that we don’t have this capability. I’ve noticed this isn’t the only transaction that functions this way.
