Report/search displays the # of Open Cases by Month with Customer Filter.

I need a search/report that displays the # of Open Customer cases each month.

I can calculate the # of Cases Created each month & I can calculate the # Cases Closed each month.

I need to display the # of net open cases remaining each month. Ideally it would be nice to have all in one report/search but I can settle for 2 separate reports.

If I can get this in one report I am looking for something like the following.

If I need 2 reports, Row 4 would be this report/search of Open Customer Cases by Month.

We do not have a scripting resource so I am trying using native user tools.
