Why are Pop-Ups Not Going Away and Continuing to Pop-Up?

When modifying the "To Be Emailed" field under "Communication" on the sales order, if the email is invalid there is 2 pop-ups. "Please enter a valid email address" and "Invalid email(s) found:" After clicking okay on the second pop-up instead of being able to click back into the field to edit more and more pop-ups keep coming after clicking okay on each one. This is not always the case but it happens often enough that it is inconvenient for our order processing team and affects productivity. How do we fix this?
