AE: Sales History Data Migration

Hi,

Does anyone have advise regarding bringing in 3 years of sales history data as part of our go-live take on? The background to my question is that we have a Customer that wants to bring in 3 years of history for forecasting purposes. What has your experience been and any tips/advise/best business practice will be welcomed.
