AE: Projects - resource management - assignments vs allocations
Can anyone recommend how to manage resources most effectively on projects?
There are project assignments and project allocations. Which works best?
We want to simply assign resources at the project level so that anyone assigned can put time on any project task.
We don't want to assign resources to project tasks as well.
I'm thinking resource assignments are simpler, but we still seem to have to go down to the task level to assign and un-assign resources.
Is the suitescript api project task assignment ( projecttaskassignment ) able to assign resources at both the project level and also the project task level?
