Report Filter limitations

Hi,

I customized one report to filter by Item Number and I faced an issue with filling filter as below :

* We used "equal to" and select from the a list but unfortunately we are not able to see all items in the list as we have around 27,500 items but not all appears in the list

* We used "contains" but we are not able to fill search with more than 15 characters as most items number having 20 characters.

Please advise.
