Workflow Issue - Add Button & Next Approver Missing

Hello:

I have a workflow that is missing the add button and the next approver. It seems that it is a glitch and there is a Suite Anser for that --

SuiteApprovals SuiteApp | Workaround for Transaction Records Getting Stuck in One or Other Status, Other Than Approved, During the Approval Workflow (custhelp.com)

However, the script that the answer mentions that needs to be modified - I can't find it if I follow the steps.

Questions:

Is there another way to locate that script? Or,

Is there another solution possibly to this issue?
