Same Role Assigned to Two Employees - One Can and the Other Cannot Approve JE's

Hello Team,

I have an interesting situation where the identical role is assigned to two different employees. One can approve journal entries (as he should, per the workflow) but the other employee cannot.

I cannot think of any other reasons that could be affecting the other employee's ability to approve JE's because permissions are driven by the role, and not by anything else.

The role is a controller role and that role is specified in the workflow conditions. Again, the workflow probably has nothing to do with this, because one employee can do everything as expected.

Any thoughts on this?
