Do User Events apply when Assessing Finance Charges?

I'm currently trying to apply some behavior on finance charges created by the Assess Finance Charges functionality. When I run the process, invoices (finance charges) are created correctly but my User Event script is not running.

Do I have to deploy the script in a certain way to make this work? (I deployed the script on Invoices because the option Finance Charge is not in the list). Is this functionality not supported?
