How do I change the expiration date of a lot record for a lot numbered inventory item?

Hi,

For a assemblt item I can change the lot number record and update the expiry date under Inventory Details/Inventory Numbers.

For a lot numbered inventory item this function is not available. How do I enable this or can the expiration date be changed in another way?
