Can Files be deleted from File Cabinet without "breaking" any references to NetSuite records ?
We are looking to moving away from NetSuite File Cabinet where we store vendor related documentation into a different repository. Vendor documentation has been added through up to now through the DND feature when creating or editing vendor records.
I performed a small test in our sandbox to see if any links or access would be broken if the file(s) are removed/deleted from the File Cabinet.
Logically I would think NetSuite would experience errors but at the conclusion of my test, everything seems to be working. I wanted to validate and verify this with you all if this indeed is accurate or will there be problems if these documents are removed from the File Cabinet and still associated with NetSuite records.
