Partial Billing of a SO that has only 1 Item
Hello Gurus!
Scenario: I have a Sales Order with only 1 item in it, say, subscription software. Revenue is recognized in equally each month within 12 months; each month 1/12th of the total revenue is recgonized.
Client wants to invoice half of the total revenue amount (sales order amount) in 2 installments.
Question: How should I invoice it in increments? When I tried to invoice for the first time, for half of the amount of the SO, the SO got closed as if it has been fulfilled.
